Registration Information

Parents and Guardians,

ParentVue Online registration is here! This system will allow you to complete the registration process online and at your convenience. It is available to all schools in APS.

How do I access OLR (online registration)?

  • Go to https://mystudent.aps.edu/ or click on the picture above.
  • First time users will create an account. You will need to have a current e-mail address to receive the activation key.
  • Complete the steps to setup your account.
  • Once your account has been set up, you will be entered into ParentVUE/StudentVUE.
  • Return to http://mystudent.aps.edu/ to login and complete the registration process.

If you do not have access to any technology that will allow you to complete this process, please contact the Office. We will schedule a time for you to come in and provide you with the support needed to complete the registration process for the 2019-2020 school year. Our office phone number is (505) 292-7735.

While this online registration process includes important information to register for school, there are still documents that we are requesting that you complete and return to us. These documents will ensure that you and your child are aware of policies specific to Apache Elementary and other important information that will be shared with next year's teacher(s).

Other Important Information

  • Parents and guardians must provide current legal documentation (Court orders, Power of Attorney, Caregivers Affidavit, etc.) for children under their care when needed.
  • Kindergarten registration is ongoing. We will need a copy of the child's birth certificate and up-to-date immunization records before we can place them in a class. It will be necessary for the parent or guardian to hand-deliver these documents to the Office. To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be 5 years old by 12:01 a.m. September 1, 2021.
  • Registration for our Pre-K program is ongoing. Please contact the Office to let us know you have registered your Pre-K student online.
  • Proof of residency is required for all new students, including kindergarteners. APS requires a PNM bill, a lease agreement, OR mortgage agreement with the parent or guardian's name on it. Please hand deliver these documents to the Office upon enrollment.

So that we can beginning planning for the 2021-2022 school year and placing students on class lists, we hope that you will complete your child's online registration soon.

KINDERGARTEN REQUIREMENTS

It is unlawful to enroll in school un-immunized.

It is unlawful for any parent to refuse or neglect to have his/her child immunized, as required by this section, unless the child is properly exempted.

Exempted forms are online at New Mexico Department of Health website (https://nmhealth.org/about/phd/idb/imp/).

 

DTaP  4 doses if last dose is given on/after 4th birthday.

Polio (OPV/IPV)   3 doses if last dose is given on/after 4th birthday. Otherwise, 4 doses needed.

MMR  2 doses

Varicella  2 doses

Hep B  3 doses

Apache will not be accepting any registration packets without the immunization records being completed as shown above.

Kindergarten Age Requirements

Your child must turn 5 years old by 12:01 a.m. on September 1, 2021, to begin Kindergarten during the 2021-2022 school year. Refer to the APS website (http://www.aps.edu/schools/enrollment)  for more information.
